For nearly two decades I worked at big companies. From the outside looking in, I appeared to have it all figured out. Great pay, travel perks, and some cool discounts. But inside I had a creeping realization: I wasn’t going to be happy working for someone else when I knew I was meant to work for myself.
I wanted more flexibility with my schedule, the ability to choose the type of work I did, the people I worked with, and the pay I received.
So I lept.
And I haven’t looked back.
