5 Ways To Have A Guaranteed Awesome Christmas Break
A little holiday cheer from me to you.
The most wonderful time of the year can also be tough for some. I am taking next week off and really want to be intentional about how I spend my free time.
So whether or not you love the holidays, I made a list just for YOU and checked it twice.
5 Ideas to make your Christmas break merry and bright!
Reconnect with an old friend. In person if at all possible! If you’re visiting your hometown over the holidays, chances are your favorite high school or college friend is too. Shoot them a note, send a text, and meet up! Still not convinced? Watch this video now.
Be a tourist in your city. If you live in a large city, most attractions are wide open during the holidays. That restaurant you’ve been wanting to try? Book it! The museum you want to visit? Go!
Learn something new. When we’re heads down with work and mentally exhausted the thought of learning something new can be daunting. So with a little time off, take an online masterclass - cooking, photography, you name it! It’s out there. A few great resources:

Then there’s YouTube. Classes on just about anything!
Give back. The holidays can also be lonely, so how about giving your time or money to help someone out! Check your local listings for volunteer opportunities on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Or, send a monetary gift to a cause you care about.
Take 20 and reflect. Grab paper and a pen (and ahem, a glass of your favorite wine) and think about this past year. Jot down answers to these questions:
What accomplishments are you incredibly proud of this year?
What mistakes did you make, and what did you learn as a result?
What do you want next year - more than anything?
